Kyle has been working in the construction industry for 22 years after getting his start as a young boy working alongside his father building homes. After earning his degree in Business Management from BYU, he joined his father full-time as a supervisor building custom homes. He then earned his B100 contractor’s license and assumed responsibility for all construction in the company, eventually becoming vice president and COO. Kyle also spent three years broadening his experience in the construction industry building commercially for a local retail business. Kyle and his wife, Angie, have been married for 26 years and have four children. Kyle is a NAHB Certified Green Professional.

Brad Simons

Vice President, CFO, & Principle Broker

Brad began his career in the home building industry working with his father while in high school. Brad expanded his experience as division president of a regional home building company, CFO of a worker’s compensation carrier and as president of a local custom building company. Brad earned his BA from the University of Utah and his MBA from Westminster College. Brad is past president of the Utah Valley Home Builder’s Association and serves as a member of the National Association of Home Builders board of directors. Brad is the 2014 president of Utah County Habitat for Humanity and was awarded the Silver Beaver for his work with the Boy Scouts of America. Brad has been a licensed real estate broker for 25 years. Brad is married to Shawn, they have four kids and a grandson. Brad holds the following certifications & degrees:

Tom Cooper

Business Development Manager

Tom is a new home sales professional driven to provide exceptional customer service. In 1992, he obtained his Real Estate License and began working with Woodside Homes of Utah as a Sales Agent. Tom later became the Sales/Marketing Manager and Sales Coach. In 2015 he joined Ivory Homes and in November of 2015 joined the Magleby team. Tom obtained his Real Estate Broker’s License in 2009 and is Currently a Market Development Manager and Associate Broker with Magleby Communities. Tom is married to Linda Heath, they have two daughters and three grandchildren.

Mike Priday

Site Manager

Mike began working in the home building industry right out of high school as a carpenter. Overtime, Mike became a finish carpentry craftsman while working in Tucson, St George and Utah Valley. In St George, Mike was VP of operations for a local custom home builder, presenting five award winning homes in the Southern Utah Parade of Homes. Mike joined the Magleby team as part of Magleby Remodel in 2012. Now Mike is a site manager as part of Magleby Communities. Mike spends most of his days with his four kids and two grandkids but often slips away to work a shift for Unified Fire Authority: Yes, Mike is a fireman! Mike enjoys anything outdoors, especially camping and winter sports. Mike holds the NAHB Certified Green Professional designation.


Zach Hassell

Zach Hassell


Prior to receiving his BS in Construction Management from Brigham Young University, Zach worked as an estimator for a footing and foundation contractor in the Salt Lake Valley. After graduation, he worked in various aspects of project management for commercial general contractors along the Wasatch Front and in Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, Zach was a project manager and estimator for an environmental restoration and landscape firm. Zach joined Magleby Construction in 2013 and is responsible for estimating in our Estate, Communities and Remodel groups. Zach is an Eagle Scout and is married to Tara with three daughters and three sons.
