Erik Nilsen

Site Manager

Erik was raised in the Wood River Valley.  His career in the construction industry began at the age of 12 moving lumber and pushing brooms in the summers for his father’s construction company. As time progressed he had the opportunity to learn and gain experience in every aspect of construction. Throughout those early years of his career, Erik learned to appreciate hard work and learned the value of gaining knowledge of all the different trades. That realization helped him accomplish the task of building many high quality homes. Erik became an accomplished finish carpenter and then eventually had the opportunity to own and operate his father’s company successfully for 13 years. His passion for building comes from his love of taking a design concept that originated on paper and then with a team, creating through the building process what was once only an idea. The philosophy that anything is possible is rooted in his core.

Erik and his wife Kerry are the parents of 5 children and love spending time together in the outdoors. Sports and outdoor recreation are big part of their lives. Erik and Kerry have enjoy raising their family in the beautiful Wood River Valley. Erik made the transition from his own company to the Magleby team in February of 2016 to join a team that values quality and excellence in building homes and families.
