Leon Schwab


Leon began his building career at the age of eighteen working for a custom home builder on the east coast.  Seven years later he launched his own home remodeling business in Bucks County Pennsylvania, which he successfully owned and operated for seventeen years before relocating to Utah to join the Magleby team.  Leon built his reputation on hard work, beautiful craftsmanship, clear communication with clients and personal attention to every detail.  He is committed to giving Magleby’s customers a finished project that exceeds expectations. Leon is married, has four children and two grandchildren.

Jimmy Larsen

Jimmy Larsen

Construction Manager

As a seasoned general contractor, Jimmy brings an exceptional work ethic, commitment to craftsmanship and broad expertise to the Magleby team.  He owned a successful home building business for 14 years and has worked in many aspects of construction for more than 30 years.  His background includes new construction, commercial, renovations and management.  During this time he developed a deep understanding for the construction process and dedication to client relationships.  Jimmy has been married for 22 years, has five children and resides in Alpine.

Riley Welch


Riley received his bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho in construction management. While in college he started also gaining hands-on experience in the industry as a superintendent with a homebuilding company in New York City and also worked at FFKR as a construction administrator. In 2017 Riley joined the Magleby family of companies at Studio MX where he worked as a drafter and designer. His passion for creative design and construction innovation led him to the Magleby Remodel team where is he currently working as project manager. Riley enjoys camping, hiking and playing the guitar.

Jake Birch

Project Manager

Jake Birch joined the Magleby Team after having spent over 9 years at Euclid Timber Frames where he did everything from field and shop work to operating machinery to design and estimating. Over the last few years, Jake was involved in providing timber design and estimates for Magleby Estate Home projects, which is how he was introduced to the company. Jake’s interest in remodeling stems from numerous personal projects that he has done for himself and his family. His diverse experience made him the perfect fit as a highly qualified site manager for the Magleby Remodel Group. Jake is married with 3 children and enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.

Taylor Stout

Project Manager

Taylor Stout joined the Magleby team as an Assistant Project Manager for Estate Homes and has quickly proven his acumen both on the business and construction side of the operation. He graduated from UVU where he received a degree in Construction Management and has his  Utah Real Estate License. Taylor already holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Dixie State University. Taylor grew up in the construction industry helping his father with various jobs, including projects that specialized in excavation, concrete, and framing. In 2015 he and his wife built their own home in St. George UT—completing about 90% of the work on their own. They then completely remodeled their current home when they moved north to join Magleby Construction. This “hands-on” background helped Taylor place in the top 10 in the national Skills USA competition in Carpentry in 2018. Outside of construction, Taylor enjoys being outdoors either camping, wakeboarding, or snowboarding. He loves spending time with his beautiful wife and his new baby boy. He has family both in St. George and in Boise that he spends as much time with as possible.

Jeannine Hawkins

Project Manager

Jeannine Hawkins started her career in homebuilding with Woodside Homes in Utah where she gained versatile experience in everything from estimating to purchasing to construction permitting.  Known for her strong work ethic and well-rounded ability to tackle just about any task, Jeannine was recruited to Magleby Construction in 2015.  She served as an Assistant Project Manager for many of the company’s Groups, including Masterpiece Commercial Millwork, Magleby Communities, Magleby Property Services and Magleby Remodel, where she continued to excel into the role of Project Manager for the growing team.  Jeannine studied Music Education at the University of Utah and it has remained a passion – she is a Board Member and the Music Director for Youth Theater, and she and her husband are dedicated to putting their construction skills to work, building sets for many local productions.  Jeannine is married and has two boys.  She loves traveling, trying new restaurants and watching her sons perform in musical theater.

Kylie Clark

Project Engineer

Kylie Clark joined the Magleby Remodel team in 2019 and has quickly proven herself as an Assistant Project Manager for the fast-paced group.  In addition to her position, she is enrolled in Construction Management at BYU and looks forward to growing her career in the industry. Outside of work and school Kylie enjoys playing sports, hiking, being outside and just enjoying all life has to offer!


Chase Swan

Site Manager

Born and raised in Utah with construction in his blood, Chase has a broad spectrum of experience ranging from plumbing to commercial window installation to management of disaster restoration projects.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management at Utah Valley University (UVU) where he met Ryan Furr, which lead to him joining the Magleby Team in 2013.  He worked his way through finish carpentry to an assistant site manager position and his diverse background made him a perfect fit for the Remodel Group where he now serves as a Site Manager.  Outside of work, Chase takes full advantage of all Utah has to offer—he loves snowboarding, visiting Lake Powell, boating, 4-wheeling and hunting.

Ryan Furr

Site Manager

Ryan Furr began working at Magleby Construction on the framing crew nine years ago.  Ryan moved from the framing crew to Magleby Remodel in 2013.  Ryan is a recent graduate Utah Valley University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.  In his free time, Ryan enjoys being outdoors and riding motorcycles, as well as spending time with his wife and 3 kids.

Jason Runolfson

Site Manager

Jason Runolfson started his career in the construction industry in 1994 working for a general contractor performing all aspects of construction but specializing in rough framing carpentry. In the fall of 1998 he began working for Magleby as a framer. In 2001 he became an Estate Homes Site Manager supervising the construction of high-end custom homes. Since that time he has built a number of homes as well as several commercial projects. Jason enjoyed the opportunity to work under and learn from a number of master craftsmen over the years. He is married and has 5 children. He lives in Pleasant Grove, Utah in a home that he built himself. He loves what he does and takes pride in his work. He also realizes there is great value in the relationships he has made over the years in the construction industry. He holds the following certifications:

Zac Campbell


Zac Campbell graduated from Orem High School.  Before joining Magleby Construction he worked for a restoration company learning a variety of construction related skills.  Zac joined the Magleby team in our Craftsman Group before transitioning to a foreman for the Remodel Group.  Zac is married and recently had his first child..  Besides work and family he enjoys anything outdoors from snowboarding to wakeboarding, mountain biking and camping.
