Job Summary
Student will gain practical experience through hands-on internship focusing on preconstruction, site and project management. Intentional framework exposes student to the main facets of the industry identifying where individual passion lies. Culture training and team work provide foundation for multi-division mentor / mentee relationship with regular check-ins and feedback. Student develops lifetime relationships and skillset in effort to give back to the industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, or walk on uneven surfaces. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision. The employee is also required to frequently inspect the project and will be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, wind, and heat. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
Works from a normal office setting; however, performs a significant amount of work in all spaces within the facility. May need to work outside in all types of weather or in all kinds of work environments.

Hazards
May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold as well as certain unsafe environments; occasionally works near moving equipment and mechanical parts, heavy machinery, lasers, powder-actuated tools, and electrical equipment; possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles; possible exposure to internal liquids. This is a safety sensitive position where a momentary lapse of attention can result in serious injury or death. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally very loud. Must follow all safety requirements carefully.
